2024 not only marks the legendary punk bands 47th Anniversary, but also frontman Charlie Harpers 80th Birthday! …the band continue to represent the true spirit of punk rock, although they ceased touring officially last year but continue to play festivals and very occasional one off shows, like this one, you lucky people… With seven consecutive Top 30 hits between 1979 and ’81 they became one of the most visible bands on the scene and continue to this day to pack out venues across the world.
Support this evening comes from the incredible Brazilian duo YUR MUM who have been causing waves in the UK for a couple of years now and look set to explode big time very soon – don’t miss ’em.
And opening the proceedings, long time mates of the Subs, UK82 legends – the second generation of punk! DESTRUCTORS 82 from just down the road in Peterborough and boasting legendary guitarist Gizz Butt (one time Prodigy live guitarist and currently playing with Washington DC hardcore heroes Scream).
