An intimate exploration of loss and liberation of self, Bright and Beautiful is a one woman show that provides a private window into a relationship long past its expiration date. Through a series of vignettes, Intertwined Theatre explores how well concealed lies and manipulation can slowly make a relationship turn sour. Meanwhile, a series of newscasts detail the disappearance of a young woman walking home alone – but how are the two stories linked? Awkwardly sexy, tragically comic, and brutally honest, Bright and Beautiful captures the universal experience of a young woman navigating her sexuality in a world owned by straight men.
