MICHAEL SCHAFAR
Originally from Melbourne, Michael is now based in London where he has quickly become
one of the most exciting new acts on the UK comedy circuit. He regularly performs at the
country's biggest clubs where he gets to mock British people for their awful history and
terrible food to their faces.
You might already know Michael him from his appearances on Network 10's The
Project and Studio 10, ABC's Comedy Bites and triple j's Good Az Friday. Of course,
traditional media is dead, so it's more likely that you're one of his 100,000+ followers on
social media or the 100+ million people who have seen his videos online. You may have also
watched his debut special A(LIVE) on Amazon Prime or his most recent special Alright, Next
Joke on YouTube.
In 2025 he'll be touring around Australia, the UK and mainland Europe. If you subscribe to
his mailing list, he may even put on a show in your city.Of course, everything you've read above was written by Michael himself, so it is very biased.
Therefore, please refer to the below quotes from publications that can assess Michael's
comedy with more objectivity:
"Shafar circumnavigates the line between edgy and offensive with beautiful
finesse" ★★★★½ The Age
"He’s a brand of comedian that is getting rarer and rarer to come by these days, and if
you’re among those who fear comedy has gotten too politically correct, this show will put
those fears to rest." ★★★★ TimeOut
"Shafar has a disarmingly relaxed approach and an intelligent sense of humour with a wildly
inventive, darkly comic imagination." ★★★★★ The Edinburgh Reporter
JACK MCLEAN
Multi Award winner Jack McLean is a rising star on the Northern Comedy circuit. Having
been crowned Hull What’s on New Comedian of the Year, Bask in Laughter champion 2022
and Yorkshire Comedy Awards Best Breakthrough Act 2023.
This year has also seen Jack make his TV debut as a Semi-Finalist on BBC Three’s ‘BBC New
Comedy Awards 2023’ before going on to support Josh Jones, Tom Lucy & Steff Todd on
their latest tours.

TOM WRIGGLESWORTH
With a disarmingly charming delivery and unforgettable appearance, Yorkshire funny man
Tom Wrigglesworth became a national have-a-go-hero when he rescued a little old lady
from the jaws of a Virgin train ticket inspector; only to be arrested for begging.
His subsequent story of the event secured Tom several awards including the Chortle Best
Show Award, and a nomination for the main Edinburgh Comedy Award.
This led to a sell out tour of the UK, and runs at the New Zealand Comedy Festival and
prestigious Montreal Comedy Festival.
MC DAVE LONGLEY
One of the few comics able to play to any audience without compromising on his material,
David Longley can delight a hen party and the comedy connoisseur on the same night.
Intelligent, silly, thought-provoking and filthy, Longley has found himself headlining comedy
clubs all over the country and is also in demand as an MC.
Longley has performed 4 full-length solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe each one being
greeted with critical acclaim
