Emergency Cabaret are a small, grassroots queer collective based in Lincoln. We started off with two main aims: first, to give a platform to local queer performers & showcase their talent; and second, to start building up queer community and solidarity in a county (and country) where the far-right is on the rise and LGBTQ+ rights are increasingly under threat. We had fun with our name - Emergency Cabaret - but it is far from flippant. We think this is an emergency, and as usual, queers must find their own ways of surviving - through activism, community and pleasure. These are the values at the heart of Emergency Cabaret and we invite you to start building it with us.

Venue information

The Drill is in Lincoln, England, and is a versatile arts and community venue with a capacity of around 500 people. Originally established as the Drill Hall in 1890, it has served various purposes, including as a military training facility.
