The Activators are an explosive 11-piece band whose genre-blending sound spans Ska, Reggae, Celtic, Punk, Dub, Balkan folk and even Tango. Known for their high-energy performances and chaotic stage presence, they’ve built a strong reputation across the UK and Europe for delivering unforgettable live shows.

From Reykjavik to Rome, Tyneside to Camden, they’ve raised roofs and lit up festival stages alongside legends like Jimmy Cliff, The Skints, The Beat, Fatboy Slim, and The Selecter. One Icelandic fan summed it up perfectly: “The Activators eru betri en milljón tunna af bjór!!” (“The Activators are better than a million barrels of beer!”)

Venue information
