The Activators & Hell's Ditch
Co Headline Show
Friday 9th October 2026

Two of Lincoln's finest take over Southside for a co headline show -
The Activators
The Activators are an 11-piece band whose eclectic
style transcends Ska, Balkan, Reggae, Celtic, Punk and even Tango! Their chaotic energy and melodic ‘can’t
help but dance’ tunes have led to them becoming regulars on the live music circuit in the UK and in Europe.
As an audience member screamed at one of their Reykjavik gigs: „The actlvators eru betri en milljón tunna
af bjór!! “ They have raised the roof from Iceland to Italy, and across the UK from Tyneside to Taunton to
Carlisle to Camden and beyond.
Countless festival performances including six performances at Glastonbury and five consecutive years at
Boomtown have cemented the band’s reputation as ‘festival favourites’.
The release of the Activators’ album ‘Lie of the Land’ sees the band further expanding their boundaries.
One thing is for sure, when The Activators walk on to any stage, things start to get very interesting!
Hell’s Ditch
Fast, fun and built to lift a room: Hell's Ditch are a British punk rock band who make political punk you can actually dance to. The lyrics dig into working-class life: poverty, alienation, resistance, but you come away energised rather than worn down.
Rock Sound called it "rousing and vital music that can only be forged on the streets of the UK," and Punktastic named them "one of the UK's most exciting up-and-coming bands." Backed by BBC Radio 1 Rock Show's Daniel P Carter and BBC Introducing's Alyx Holcombe, produced by Sam Cook and Mass Giorgini (Rise Against, Green Day, Alkaline Trio), and road-tested on festival stages across the UK and Europe alongside Roughneck Riot, Black Water County, Popes of Chillitown, Pet Needs and The Skids, Hell's Ditch are a band on the rise, with a fiercely loyal following to match.
