ROD WOODWARD: Award-winning comedian Rod Woodward has come a long way since his stand-up career began as a studio audience warm-up man for ITV Wales. A finalist in the prestigious So You Think You’re Funny competition at the The Edinburgh Fringe in his first year as a professional, Rod started to receive plaudits from such luminaries as Peter Kay and Barry Cryer.

 


ANGELOS EPITHEMIOU: Unwitting star of Shooting Stars (BBC2), Dave’s One Night Stand and Channel 4’s The Angelos Epithemiou Show is cult favourite Angelos Epithemiou. Think Little Britain meets Vic and Bob meets a smattering of Ivan Brackenbury and then lower your expectations and get on board.

 


AARON WOOD: Aaron Wood is one of the UK’s most exciting new comics, having racked up three sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe and a successful UK tour. He’s supported the likes of Luke Kidgell, Tom Stade and Fin Taylor, and his stand-up and podcast clips have picked up over 100 million views online, earning him a spot on Rolling Stone’s list of “Rising Stars to See”

 


MC CARL JONES Midlands comic Carl Jones first hit the circuit in 2011 after winning the Nottingham Comedy Festival Best Newcomer in his first handful of gigs. Since then, he’s gone on to reach the BBC New Comedy Award heats, the latter stages of numerous national new act competitions and gig at some of the top comedy clubs across the UK.

The Drill is in Lincoln, England, and is a versatile arts and community venue with a capacity of around 500 people. Originally established as the Drill Hall in 1890, it has served various purposes, including as a military training facility.
