Less tribute and more homage, Nearly Dan is saviour to the growing legions of Dan fans, desperate to hear the meticulously crafted grooves and allusive lyrical style of Donald Fagen & Walter Becker. Nearly Dan's approach is faithful, though not reverential, and relaxed but as tight as their namesakes. They bring their own unique spirit and spontaneous humour to every concert.It’s been over 40 years since the release of the first Steely Dan album “Can’t buy a Thrill”, featuring the hits “Do it Again” and “Reelin’ in the years.” Nearly Dan now in its 28th year on the road press on into 2025 with a full year of tour dates booked and an exciting new line up, showcasing a set list featuring deep cuts along with all the favourite Steely Dan classics. In a two hour-plus show, featuring tracks from the groove of Countdown to Ecstasy to the super cool of celebrated albums The Royal Scam. Aja and Gaucho also featuring Donald Fagen’s classic solo masterpiece “The Nightfly”A real treat for all music lovers and an unmissable concert for any aspiring musician young or old.Celebrating 4 decades of STEELY DAN. Donald Fagen and Walter Becker have created some of the most influential music of the pop era. Inspired arrangements and witty, often biting, lyrics combine to make this some of the most distinctive music ever to grace the turntable, with hits such as Yacht Rock classics Reelin’ in the Years, Do It Again, Rikki Don't Lose That Number, Deacon Blues, Peg and FM. culled from their seven platinum albums issued between 1972 and 1980.They reunited in the early 90s and toured throughout the decade, releasing multi-Grammy winner Two Against Nature in 2000 and its acclaimed follow-up Everything Must Go in 2003. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001. The Brudenell is a lively and fun loving venue that embraces music and art under a wide and diverse umbrella that has no boundaries.

The Brudenell has been in the past most famous for hosting secret gigs for bands like Franz Ferdinand and the Kaiser Chiefs. However, it has been a centrepiece of the Leeds music scene for a number of years, and hosts events most nights of the week, which are put on by a variety of local promoters, covering a wide spectrum of genres.

The Brudenell is not just about music... facilities include: a lounge, Games Room with Snooker Table, 5 Pool Tables, Darts, Table Football, two large concert room, Sky TV and BT Sport showing all the live sports in HD.

Brudenell Social Club has step free access from the entrance through to both event rooms. There is also a newly installed accessible toilet, which is accessed via a RADAR key.
